Members All,

What a privilege it is for me, to serve as your Exalted Ruler for the Lodge Year of 2008-2009. With a new lodge year comes the Hope of starting anew.Our focus for the coming year will be our committees and our community.The purpose of the Brotherhood of Elks, is to promote Elkdom. What is Elkdom? In a nutshell, it is to promote the betterment of Mankind. From helping the Scouts to recognizing members achievements in the community. We exist only from the kindness of others. Your membership and donations promote the well being of our Lodge and the surrounding community. I am asking that each member to please attend a Lodge meeting. You will be impressed with all of the activity that goes on within your lodge. It may even spark the volunteer within you. We have many committees for which you can serve, with very little time and inconvenience to yourself. If all of our members would give just a portion of their time, what a difference we all could make! So please contact anyone of your Lodge Officers to renew your commitment to one another, to your community. Lets tap the talents of our members to make a difference. CHARITY of your time, is the most valuable gift you could give. So please give. You will be surprised, just how good it will make you feel!!
