Note from the newsletter
editor

For the months of July and
August, the Lodge moves to a summer schedule. We
meet only on the fourth Monday of each month.
Keep this in mind, and stop in to see what we’re
doing as Elks and enjoy the camaraderie of
fellow Elks.In August, we’ll be taking part in
the Montour County National Night Outevent. Last
year, this was held at Sunnybrook Park. It’s a
fun filled evening for all.The County Emergency
Services departments, such as the Fire
Department and Police Departments, along with
the Sheriff’s Department all gather. The
purposeof this event is to allow the public to
familiarize themselves with the Men and Women
who serve and protect our County. Then, in the
event of an emergency, the public is more
informed of what to expect, and how to help the
members of the emergency services in getting the
job done.Come out and join the event and meet
the people who are not only friendsand
neighbors, but an important part of keeping our
community safe |
